Labor Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz told officers of an association of nursesbound for Germany, and those to be initially deployed, to be proud of their accomplishment being the first group of Filipino nurses under the Triple Win Project. Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac said the four nurses to be deployed-Vanessa Preclaro, Krystel Sumido, Eowyn Galvez and Ruel Galias--belong to the group of nurses with level B1/B2 German language proficiency.
Baldoz presided over the induction of officers of the Association of Filipino Nurses for the Triple Win Project in Germany (Der Verband der Philippinische Pflegekrafte des Triple Win Projekts in Deutschland) last week.
In her message to the group, the Secretary emphasized the importance of family solidarity and having constant communication. She also advised them to be always humble and help strengthen camaraderie among Filipino nurses in Germany.
The association, founded by candidate-nurses with advanced German language skills, seeks to work towards the protection of interest and promotion of the welfare of Filipino nurses in Germany.
The first group of nurses left for Frankfurt on 14 December 2013. Deployment of succeeding batches is expected starting January 2014, according to Cacdac.
